  • Have you watched the "how to ride EUC" videos? I would recommend the sequence in Kuji Roll's video, learn to ride using support before learning to mount without support. Use a wall or post for support to get your feet onto the V8S, rock back and forth, and while leaned forwards, release (don't push) from the wall or post and try to ride. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6o8ZMlo5ko&t=393s . I don't recommend face planting into a wall or post to stop. You're already going too fast for that. Try arm flailing, (flail left to steer right and vice versa) to steer into fall for balance. The girl does this somewhat at first, but by 8:12 into the video, she is going fast enough (about 8 mph) that the V8 becomes stable enough that it doesn't take much to maintain balance, and there is a short clip of her tilt steering (move inner foot down, outer foot up to tilt the EUC), which causes it to steer). The tilt steering will be a work in progress over time, but arm flailing is almost instinctive for some beginners. Example of a 3 year old using arm flailing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9YiHu5HJ6o. If you learn to free mount last, it will be easier since you already know how to ride. In Wrong Way (Adam)'s how to ride video, his girlfriend Monokat (Kate), used Adam for supported mount and launch and had ridden 50 to 80 km before she tried to free mount.
